pictureYouth group at First Plymouth includes Bible study and sermon discussion, service to the church and community, social and sports activities and music programs (both instrumental and vocal). Youth group for Jr. High youth meets every Wednesday night from 6:15 to 7:30pm.

This is a time for youth to become involved in the life of the church and the development of their Christian beliefs in an environment that is nurturing and accepting. For more information on the youth programs, contact Mitch Connelly at First-Plymouth, 476-7565 ext 221.

Below is a listing of the activities that the Youth are involved in at First-Plymouth. Other areas may be added as the year progresses and ideas become action.

Wednesday Nights – Youth Group is Wednesday night. There is a dinner and fellowship activities for 6th and 7th graders. These are planned by the youth and announced throughout the year. Friends are always welcome.

pictureRetreat - Each fall youth participate in a retreat to Timberlake Ranch Camps. This is a great deal of fun and a wonderful time to make new friends.

Church and Community Service - Youth help in a variety of church activities such as: Lenten and Advent Workshops, Humane Society, Crop Walk, and community-based mission projects.

Acolytes - Junior high youth contribute at both Sunday morning services by leading the processional and lighting the Christ candles.

Christmas Eve 5:00pm Service - This service is arranged and led entirely by junior and senior high youth and includes readings from the gospel, youth orchestra and choir.

Easter Processional – Youth lead the long-standing traditional Easter processional with banners and candles at each service.
