Senior High - 10th through 12th Grade
This is a time for young adults to become involved in the life of the church and the development of their Christian beliefs in an environment that is nurturing and accepting. Youth activities are designed to promote fellowship and community outreach.
Sr. High youth group meets on Wednesday evenings from 7:30 to 8:30 pm. Additionally, Sr. High youth meet on Sunday mornings during the 10:30 service for Sunday Discussions, which add depth and discussion to the scripture reading from the week’s sermon.

Below is a listing of the activities. Other areas may be added as the year progresses and ideas become action.
Social and Fellowship Activities – Throughout the year social and networking activities are planned and sponsored by senior high members. Friends of youth members are always welcome to participate.
Sports and Recreational – Join one of our church league teams in basketball, volleyball and softball. We also gather for many other opportunities to engage in sports and recreational activities throughout the year.
Mission Trips – Throughout the year youth plan and raise funds for mission trips to help disaster relief, assist those with disabilities and serve the needs of individuals less fortunate. Recent trips include Gulf Port Mississippi, Galveston Texas Hurricane Relief, and Camp Friendship.
Church and Community Service – Numerous opportunities for youth involvement in church projects and boards. Youth groups plan and take charge of community-based service projects throughout the year including Souper Bowl Sunday and Red Candle Dinner.
Christmas Eve 5:00pm Service - This service is arranged and led entirely by junior and senior high youth and includes readings from the gospel, youth orchestra and choir.
Easter Processional – Youth lead the long-standing traditional Easter processional with banners and candles at each service.
