Allison was born and raised in Lincoln, Nebraska, where she attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. She first became interested in film making when she was in elementary school. The short videos she made were by no means great, but they kept her busy and allowed her to be creative. By the time that college rolled around, she knew exactly what she wanted to major in -- film. After graduating with a 'Film and New Media' degree, she worked in television and news. She finds that videos are a great way to convey information and she enjoys being a part of the process in making them.

When she's not working, she loves to bake and be outside. One of her favorite things to bake is sourdough bread.
