Discuss your end-of-life wishes in a relaxed and easy-to-understand setting. Difficult conversations can be made easier when you have information and practice.
Why would two nurses from Lincoln, want to help facilitate difficult conversations about end of life? Because we’ve seen the trauma that come when you haven’t shared your wishes and you are no longer able to speak for yourself. When your loved ones must guess “what would they want?”, they are left with questions, guilt, or shame, which leads to complicated grief.
It will never be perfect, but you will be more prepared to have conversations with those who matter. We won’t take away the grief, but we’ll take away the trauma.
