Dietrich Bonhoeffer faced a moral choice unlike any that we are likely to see in our lifetimes. A Christian pastor and theologian, he held fast to his faith even when it meant going up against the evil regime of Adolf Hitler. In doing so he paid the ultimate price with his life. His writings on the cost of discipleship have inspired generations of Christians who seek to ground their lives in their faith. In this class we will learn about Bonhoeffer’s courageous choices and talk together about how they are relevant to today’s world.
