Tom graduated from Middlebury College, Vermont in 1992 with a major in film and theater. Having done some work for PBS during college he worked briefly at WGBH Boston and then 4 years at a commercial TV production company before moving to Miami in 1996. In South Florida he filmed, wrote and produced TV shows and commercials for The Travel Channel, HBO and the Armed Forces Radio TV Services. In 2000 Tom started his own production company and filmed for shows like “The American Race, ”Dancing with the Stars”, “HBO Real Sports”, commercials for companies like Flex Seal, and Live shots for Bloomberg TV, culminating in several live political shows during the 2016 election cycle.
During the summer of 2016 Tom and his wife decided to move closer to family around Omaha and Lincoln and look for ways to use video production to give back the community. After discovering that producing videos for non profits like Mosaic Group and The Lincoln Children’s Museum was much more spiritually rewarding, he took the next steps in Television as the Producer /Director of First-Plymouth Church’s weekly show “Reach Out and Live”. As the Director of Media and Technology , Tom enjoys using TV, Radio, and the internet to help the F.P. mission of spreading the love of God and neighbor. If you would like to be a part of the F.P.
