Step Up & Lead – Join the Youth Leadership Team!
Are you in 10th grade or older and ready to step up, lead, and make a real impact in our youth group? The Youth Leadership Team is looking for dedicated students who want to shape the future of our youth ministry, plan events, and create a welcoming, inclusive space for everyone.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
Plan and lead youth group events and discussions
Help shape the vision of our youth ministry
Work alongside church leaders to create meaningful experiences
Develop leadership skills that will last a lifetime
Be a voice for your peers and help make youth group a place where everyone belongs
WHAT’S THE COMMITMENT?
Open to 10th grade and up
Must actively participate in youth group activities and events
Monthly Leadership Team meetings to plan and collaborate
Hands-on involvement in organizing youth events, retreats, and special services
Opportunities to mentor younger students and be a role model

Join the Youth Service Team – Make a Difference!
Are you passionate about helping others and making a real impact in our community? The Youth Service Team is looking for students in 6th grade and up to join us in serving others, planning outreach projects, and being a force for positive change!
What does the Youth Service Team do?
6th-8th graders can be committee members, participating in service events and projects.
9th-12th graders can take on leadership roles, helping to plan and organize service opportunities.
We will work together to identify community needs, partner with local organizations, and serve both our church and Lincoln as a whole.
What’s the commitment?
Leadership Team (9th grade & up) meets monthly to plan and coordinate projects.
Full Committee (6th grade & up) meets bi-monthly to prepare for upcoming service opportunities.
What will you be involved in?
Planning and preparing meals for Matt Talbot Service
Finding new service projects, like Orphan Grain Train
Having a voice in Summer Service Trips and Urban Plunge
Organizing fundraising events to support our work
Collaborating with other church ministries to expand our impact

Join the Youth Welcome Committee! - Be a Welcoming Light
Do you love meeting new people and making others feel at home? The Youth Welcome Committee is looking for students who want to create a warm and inviting atmosphere at church! This is your chance to greet, usher, and help out on Sunday mornings and at special events, ensuring that everyone feels seen, valued, and welcomed.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
Greet people at the doors and make them feel at home
Help with ushering during services
Assist at special church events and gatherings
Create a welcoming environment for visitors and new members
Be the friendly face of our youth group!
WHAT’S THE COMMITMENT?
Open to 6th grade and up
Serve on a rotating schedule – one month on, two months off
Help plan ways to make our church more welcoming and inclusive
Participate in occasional meetings to coordinate efforts

Orphan Grain Train for Service Saturday (Second Saturday of Every Month)
Open to 5th grade and above: Come help at Orphan Grain Train sorting and packing clothing donation to be shipped to communities in need around the world!
