FP Littles & Kids | Sundays in August
This month, kids will dive into the story of King David and see how God guided him through victories and challenges.
Back-to-School Bash in the Courtyard | Aug 2, 6:00–7:30pm
All ages are invited to join us for our final Courtyard Party of the summer as we celebrate the start of a new school year! Enjoy an evening of food (free hotdogs, ice cream), fun, games, and fellowship with your First-Plymouth family. All students and teachers returning to school---bring your backpacks for a special blessing!
FP Littles Open House | 5:30–6:00pm
Families with 3- and 4-year-olds are invited to stop by the Littles Room (Lower Level, Room 006W) to meet our preschool teachers and Jeremy, who will lead our new FP Little Maestros program (see more information below!). Ask questions, meet the team, and receive a Preschool Bible to help nurture their child’s faith journey.
Blessing for the New School Year
All students and teachers who are returning back to school and Sunday school are invited to worship for a blessing on Sunday, Aug 2, at the 9:00am & 10:30am services at First-Plymouth, and 9:30am at FP South.
New! FP Little Maestros
2nd Saturday of the month (begins Sept 12), 10:00-10:30am, Mayflower Hall
Preschoolers and a parent or guardian are invited to join Associate Minister of Music Jeremy Roberts. Through singing, movement, musical games, and hands-on instrument exploration, children will build a musical foundation and discover the joy of music.
For many of us, music is a powerful way to experience God’s love and presence—and that can be true for our youngest church members, too.
Children’s Choir & Worship Arts Kickoff | August 19
Join us for a Pizza Party Kickoff and Family Orientation! We’ll begin with fun musical activities that give children and parents a taste of what choir is all about. Then, children will head off for games while parents and guardians stay for a brief informational meeting.
Our Wednesday choirs include Alleluia Choir (Grades K–2) and Junior Choir (Grades 3–5). Throughout the year, children will also enjoy Worship Arts rotations in handbells, drumming, drama, and art.
We can’t wait to make music, grow in faith, and worship together! Questions? Email jeremy@firstplymouth.org.
