FP Littles & FP Kids | Sunday Mornings in January
9:00am, 10:30am, and 9:30am FP South
In January, children will explore what makes Jesus truly one of a kind. Though he appeared ordinary, Jesus lived with humility, trusted God fully, and loved others deeply. Kids will discover how Jesus calls us to follow him and how God often works in powerful ways through simple, unexpected moments.
FP Kids WNL | Wednesdays 5:45-7:30pm
WNL returns January 14! Children will explore faith through music as they sing in choir, prepare for Easter, and try handbells and drumming. See page 4 for details.
Save the Date: June 1-5, 2026: First-Plymouth Summer Kids Camp “Rainforest Falls”
Save the date for Summer Kids Camp (VBS)! This summer, children will journey through Rainforest Falls—an adventure filled with wild waterfalls, towering trees, and colorful creatures. Through stories, music, and hands-on activities, kids will discover the nature of God and what it means to be rooted in a relationship with their Creator, a safe and steady presence through life’s storms. Early registration will open in mid-February. More details coming soon!
Parent Connect: Wed. Jan 21, 6:15-7:15 PM
January Topic: Parenting Together When We Don’t Always Agree. A monthly space to connect with other parents, share real stories, and explore practical tools for raising kids together. No lectures. No perfect parents—just community.
All children, youth, families, and friends are invited to a free afternoon of ice skating and hot cocoa at the Breslow Ice Hockey Center (433 V St). Come skate, sip, and enjoy time together!
Meet Mason Keim
Assistant Director of Children & Family Ministries
We’re delighted to welcome Mason Keim as our new Assistant Director of Children & Family Ministries, working alongside CYFM Director Shelby Swartz. A Lincoln native, Mason has spent nearly his entire life at First-Plymouth and brings eight years of experience serving children and youth of all ages. A 2022 graduate of the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, Mason has a deep passion for service, especially through First-Plymouth’s Pine Ridge and Guatemala trips. Outside of work, he enjoys time with friends, traveling, and the occasional round of disc golf. Contact mason@firstplymouth.org
Every Second Saturday we sort clothing donations at Orphan Grain Train! Thanks to everyone who helped out this December. We packed over 20 boxes!
